Michael Perelman is a well known and well published author of articles and books on the uselessness of mainstream economics and the appropriateness of Marxist economics. He is an American economist and economic historian, currently professor of economics at California State University, Chico. Perelman has written 19 books, including Railroading EconomicsManufacturing DiscontentThe Perverse EconomyThe Invention of Capitalism, as well as his newest book, The Invisible Handcuffs of Capitalism: How Market Tyranny Stifles the Economy by Stunting Workers (2011).
