PODCAST: Donald Molosi Reads From 'Motswana: Africa, Dream Again'

The actor and playrwright Donald Molosi (Botswana) reads from his play Motswana: Africa, Dream Again. Motswana is the story of Botswana and its people as they transition from a British colony to an independent state. The play premiered off-Broadway in 2012 where it won an award at the United Solo Festival, the world’s largest solo theatre festival. Written, directed, and performed by Molosi, the play has been performed across the U.S. and is on tour in Botswana and South Africa.

Motswana: Africa, Dream Again is published as a single play and is also included in a collection of two plays by Molosi called We Are All Blue.  

Donald Molosi is the author of We Are All Blue, a collection of two plays based on historical events in Botswana. He is a classically-trained actor and award-winning playwright. He holds an MA in Performance Studies from UCSB, a Graduate Diploma in Classical Acting from LAMDA, and a BA in Political Science and Theatre from Williams College. Molosi is featured in A United Kingdom, opposite Golden Globe and Emmy award nominee David Oyelowo and Oscar nominee Rosamund Pike.
